Wood working has always been an interest of mine. As a little boy, I whittled dowel rods into bi-planes and sticks into swords. Now, Witmer Woodcraft has developed more into a profitable hobby creating furniture, counter tops, picture frames, children's toys, cutting boards, and unique and custom pieces over the last 5 years.

I am based out of Landisburg and Carlisle areas and work mainly with locally sourced woods but have also had the joy of working with some beautiful exotic wood species. There are plans and videos for anything you want to make, but I embrace the challenge of taking the project to grid paper and pencil to make these crafts a reality. Not only do I find the process of creating relaxing and exhilarating, I find reward in my creations making someone's home a little warmer.
